Zamboanga’s 10th most wanted man arrested

Police have arrested one of Zamboanga Peninsula’s most wanted persons in a police operation, the police announced on Monday, June 3, 2024.

According to Police Brigadier General Bowen Joey Masauding, director of the Zamboanga Peninsula Police Regional Office (PRO 9), Mohammad Aima Barri Alih, the 10th most wanted person in the region, was arrested.

Masauding said Alih was arrested in an enforcement operation by serving an arrest warrant around 10:44 p.m. Sunday, June 2 at Zambowood Village, Zamboanga City.

Masauding said Alih has a standing arrest warrant without recommended bail for violation of Republic Act 10883 otherwise known as the New Anti-Carnapping Law of 2016 issued by a court in Zamboanga City on October 5, 2022.

Alih was placed in the custody of the Zamboanga City Police Office for proper processing.
