Police have apprehended four men believed to be linked to recent shooting incidents in Zamboanga City.
The suspects were taken into custody based on issued warrants.
Investigators are examining their potential involvement in a shootout that resulted in the deaths of two individuals and injuries to two others in Barangay Rio Hondo on September 1, 2024.
Additionally, the Zamboanga City Police Station 5 is looking into a shooting that occurred in Barangay Lunzuran on August 30, 2024.
The arrested suspects were showcased to the media on September 2.
Mayor John Dalipe stated that his administration will continue to back the police in their efforts against crime.
The reward system for law enforcement officers with notable achievements will also remain in place.
