It was an honor to celebrate a truly remarkable milestone: 50 years of service to the nursing profession. As alumni of this institution, we are proud to have been part of this journey and to have played a role in shaping the profession into what it is today.
As we look back on the past five decades, we are reminded of the incredible progress that has been made in the field of nursing. We have seen the development of new technologies, the expansion of healthcare services, and the increased recognition of the vital role that nurses play in the delivery of high-quality patient care.
But even as we celebrate our achievements, we also acknowledge the challenges that we have faced along the way. We have seen the rise of budget cuts, the shift towards privatization, and the increasing demands on our time and energy. And yet, despite these challenges, we have persevered, and we have continued to provide the best possible care to our patients.
As alumni of this institution, we have been blessed to have been trained by some of the most dedicated and compassionate professionals in the field. We have been fortunate to have had the opportunity to work alongside mentors who have guided us, supported us, and inspired us to become the nurses we are today.
We are all proud and happy to see our former Clinical Instructors dressed in their stunning Filipiniana inspired attires, now our colleagues, especially one of our favorites, Ms. Carla Ochotorena, now the dear University President!
And as we look to the future, we are excited to see what the next 50 years will bring. We are confident that the next generation of nurses will build upon our achievements and take the profession even further.
We salute our dear alma mater, College of Nursing Western Mindanao State Univeristy for 50 years of Service to the Nursing Professionals!
So to my fellow alumni, I want to say that I am proud to be part of this community. I am proud of the work that we have done, and I am excited to see what the future holds. Let us continue to support and inspire each other, and let us continue to make a difference in the lives of our patients.
