Vinta sails of all shapes, colors and sizes unfurl at the renowned R.T. Lim Boulevard Sunday, October 6, as over 200 fishermen and vinta operators join the Regatta de Zamboanga, a traditional boat race that forms part of the annual Zamboanga Hermosa Festival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mayor John Dalipe together with Majority Leader and District II Cong. Mannix Dalipe thanked the visitors and guests as well as participants for making the Regatta 2024 a huge success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event was <\/a>graced by ambassadors from 18 countries and other members of the diplomatic corps and Department of Foreign Affairs officials, who expressed awe and admiration to the vibrant spectacle of colorful vinta sails.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Regatta was followed by the Wow Sardinas boodle fight at the R.T. Lim Boulevard.<\/p>\n
